Daily Expedition: Rotating Missions, Signal and Streaks
The Daily Expedition is Soltokemons' main free daily-reward loop. At 00:00 UTC the server deals your account three missions from a wider activity pool, always includes at least one battle task and leaves out missions you cannot yet complete. Claim all three mission rewards to open the Expedition Chest, maintain a streak for milestone bonuses and use the free Signal to find more creatures of the day's spotlight element. Everything lives in the in-game Quest Journal.
Where the Daily Expedition lives
Open the Quest Journal, the book icon in the overworld, and the Daily Expedition panel sits at the top, above your story quests. It is not a separate page or NPC; it travels with you everywhere in the game.
Everything here is server-tracked, so your progress, streak and daily reset are the same on every device you log in from. Guests can see it too, but log in with Google or a wallet if you want your streak to stick.
- •Found in the Quest Journal (book icon), above the story quests
- •Resets every day at 00:00 UTC
- •Server-tracked, so it follows your account across devices
Your three missions rotate each day
You receive three missions per day, but they are no longer a fixed trio. The server chooses them separately for each account from eight possible activities and guarantees that at least one is battle-related. You can complete them in any order, and each mission has its own claimable reward.
The pool respects your progress. The fishing mission is offered only after you own the Fishing Rod, the forge mission only after you own gear, and the statue mission only when its cooldown allows completion. A visit mission uses an open destination, so the Daily Expedition should never ask you to enter content you cannot reach.
- •Battle tasks: win 3 wild battles, catch 1 creature, or win 2 battles in which the spotlight element earns the XP
- •World tasks: visit the target zone or receive Solana's Blessing at her statue
- •Activity tasks: land 3 fish, play 1 Degen Arcade round, or attempt 1 gear upgrade or gem socket
- •Individual rewards range from 60 to 110 coins; the catch task also gives a Capture Net and the visit task gives a Lure
The Expedition Chest and your streak
Finish all three missions and the Expedition Chest unlocks: 160 coins and an EXP Candy (a +15% XP boost). You claim each mission and the chest from the panel.
Claiming the chest on consecutive days builds a streak, shown beside the panel title. Milestone bonuses land on days 3, 7, 14 and 30, with the day-30 reward repeating every 30 days after that. Miss a day and the streak restarts at one the next time you claim a chest.
- •Day 3: 300 bonus coins
- •Day 7: 800 coins, 3 Capture Nets and 1 EXP Candy
- •Day 14: 1,800 coins, 2 Potions and 1 Revive
- •Day 30, then every 30 days: 4,500 coins, 5 Capture Nets and 2 EXP Candies
The spotlight element
Every day, one of the seven ordinary wild elements is the spotlight: Electric, Water, Grass, Fire, Ice, Rock or Wind. The choice is deterministic for that UTC day and appears on the Daily Expedition panel. Etherial and Lunar are tied to their own restricted endgame zones and are not part of this rotation.
The spotlight can matter in two ways. One rotating mission asks you to win two battles where a creature of the spotlight element earns the XP, and the Signal biases ordinary wild encounters toward that element while it is active.
The Signal: a free daily encounter booster
The Signal is a free booster you can start once per UTC day from the panel. It lasts 15 minutes and gives each ordinary, unrestricted wild encounter a 35% chance to use the spotlight element instead of a random element.
It does not override restricted encounter pools, including swim-only sea creatures, the Lands of Etheria or the Moon's Reserve. It also does not change encounter level, rarity or catch odds. Once the element is chosen, the exact species is still rolled from that element's normal species pool.
A Lure and the Signal do different jobs and can run together. A Lure raises how often ordinary wild encounters happen; the Signal changes the element roll for some of those encounters.
- •Free, once per day, lasts 15 minutes
- •35% chance for an ordinary unrestricted encounter to use the spotlight element
- •Does not override swim-only or zone-restricted pools
- •Does not alter level, rarity or catch odds
- •Can run alongside a Lure, which raises encounter frequency
How to use the Signal well
Use the Signal when the spotlight element fills a gap in your team, when your daily deal includes the spotlight-win task, or when you want extra creatures of that element to keep or sacrifice for Essence later.
The Signal does not produce Gems or choose upgrade materials. Gems are forged and never drop, while upgrade materials depend on the zone where you win. If you also use a Lure, stay in an unrestricted land zone and make the most of the 15-minute window.
