Best starter
Which starter should you pick?
At Prof. Willow's lab you choose one of four. The type cycle is balanced, so there is no wrong pick - match the creature to how you like to fight. (Ice and Rock are wild-only.)
Aggressive / fast clears Sparkmon · Electric Sparkmon has the highest attack and speed - it moves first and ends fights before its fragility matters.
Safest for beginners Aquamon · Water Aquamon's huge HP and defense soak up mistakes while you learn the energy-and-switch rhythm.
Balanced / self-healing Floramon · Grass Floramon's Leech tops it up as it fights, so you heal between battles far less often.
Aggressive alternative Pyromon · Fire Pyromon hits hard and its Burn chips the foe down every turn - a sturdier glass cannon.
