Endgame zone

The Lands of Etheria

The Lands of Etheria is Soltokemons' endgame zone: the only place where etherial creatures spawn, and home to the hardest wild battles in the game (level 50 to 100). You enter by laying one of your claimed Soltokemon NFTs on the Ethereum Altar in the Ether Glade. Winning wild battles inside earns Ether Shards, a soulbound currency with exactly one use: the Forge, where 60 shards buy a chance to mint a real on-chain NFT from the Lands of Etheria collection.

The Lands of Etheria - purple ether fields under a violet sky

How to get there

A glowing trail starts just left of the Ethereum Spire, north of Solana City. Follow it and it leads to the Ether Glade: a magical fae glade that acts as a safe hub - no wild encounters, no trainers, just the glade and its keepers.

The glade is tended by floating Etheria Monks, essences of the drowned Ethereum. The human disciples you fight in the Ethereum Spire are merely their servants; here in the glade the monks themselves are peaceful, and they run everything: the altar, the Forge, and the way back home.

  • Head north of Solana City and find the glowing trail left of the Ethereum Spire
  • The trail ends at the Ether Glade - the safe hub with the altar and the Forge
  • From the glade, the Ethereum Altar is your gateway into the Lands themselves

The Altar ritual

At the central Ethereum Altar you lay one of your claimed Soltokemon NFTs. The monks siphon its energy, and you are teleported into the Lands of Etheria. That energy is what powers your shard farming (see below), so the ritual is the whole loop's ignition key.

You need at least one claimed Soltokemon NFT to perform the ritual: mint one, then claim it in your Bag. The NFT itself never moves - it stays in your wallet the entire time.

One trade-off to plan around: while an NFT is channeling on the altar, that creature cannot fight in your battles. You can recall it at the altar at any time to field it again.

Inside the Lands of Etheria

The Lands of Etheria is the biggest map in the game. Its purple grass spawns only etherial creatures, at levels 50 to 100 - the hardest wilds anywhere. Etherial is the endgame element: it never rolls in the regular overworld, so this is the one place to catch Seraphawn and its 14 sister species.

Type-wise, etherial sits in the second cycle: ice beats etherial (bring your ice attackers) and etherial beats wind (leave wind creatures home). The full second cycle is rock > ice > etherial > wind > rock; super-effective hits do 1.5x and resisted hits 0.66x, and everything across the two cycles is neutral. See the type chart for the whole matrix.

To return home, step into one of the glowing rune-circle portals scattered around the Lands, or talk to the Wayfarer Monk - both bring you back to the Ether Glade.

The Keeper of Etheria - a giant hooded guardian

The Keeper of Etheria

A giant hooded figure guards the northern core of the Lands. The Keeper is a future boss fight - for now it stands as a lore guardian, and the core stays sealed. If you make it that deep, pay your respects and turn back.

Creatures you'll meet

All 15 etherial species are in the Creature Codex.

Ether Shards: how farming works

Every wild battle you win inside the Lands pays out Ether Shards. Shards are soulbound and tracked server-side: they cannot be traded, sold, or moved between accounts. Their only sink is the Forge.

Farming runs on the energy your altar NFT channels. Each NFT holds 30 energy per day (it resets at 00:00 UTC) and every win costs 5 energy - so one NFT funds about six winning fights a day. Energy is tracked per NFT mint, not per account: moving the NFT to another wallet or account does not reset its energy, so there is no multi-account trick to farm faster.

Shard payouts scale with the wild creature's level: roughly 2-4 shards for a level 50 foe, climbing to 6-12 shards at level 100. Pushing deeper for higher-level wilds is riskier but meaningfully better shards-per-energy.

  • 30 energy per NFT per day, resets 00:00 UTC; each win costs 5 (~6 wins/day/NFT)
  • Energy follows the NFT mint - transferring the NFT does not refresh it
  • Payout scales with the wild's level: about 2-4 shards at Lv. 50 up to 6-12 at Lv. 100
  • Soulbound: shards never leave your account and have no market

The Forge

The Forge stands in the Ether Glade, and it is the only thing Ether Shards buy. Feed it 60 shards for one attempt to mint a real on-chain NFT from the "Lands of Etheria" collection - a separate collection from Genesis, capped at 50 mints per season.

Each attempt has a base 30% success chance. Every consecutive failure adds +10% (pity), capped at 80%; a success resets the bonus. A failed attempt burns the shards - that is the gamble. If the season is sold out, or the on-chain mint itself fails, your shards are refunded.

The Forge needs a wallet login (the NFT has to be delivered somewhere). Google-only accounts can farm shards, but must link a wallet before forging.

FAQ

How do I enter the Lands of Etheria? +

Follow the glowing trail north of Solana City (it starts left of the Ethereum Spire) to the Ether Glade, then lay one of your claimed Soltokemon NFTs on the Ethereum Altar. The monks siphon its energy and teleport you into the Lands. You need at least one claimed Soltokemon NFT: mint one, then claim it in your Bag.

What level should my team be? +

Wild creatures in the Lands run level 50 to 100 - the hardest wilds in the game - so bring your strongest team, ideally level 50 or higher. Ice creatures are the best attackers there, since ice is super effective against etherial. Leave wind creatures home: etherial beats wind.

Can my NFT be stolen at the altar? +

No. The NFT never leaves your wallet - laying it on the altar is a server-side lease, not a transfer or an approval. The only effect is that the creature cannot fight in your battles while it channels, and you can recall it at the altar at any time.

Why am I not earning Ether Shards? +

Three usual reasons: you have no NFT laid on the altar, the NFT's daily energy is spent (each NFT holds 30 energy per day and every win costs 5, so about 6 wins per day per NFT - it resets at 00:00 UTC), or you are battling outside the Lands. Shards only drop for wild battles you WIN inside the Lands of Etheria.

What are Ether Shards for? +

The Forge, and nothing else. Shards are soulbound (server-side, cannot be traded or sold). Feeding the Forge 60 shards buys one attempt to mint a real on-chain NFT from the Lands of Etheria collection.

Is wind also a new element? +

Yes. Wind shipped alongside etherial, but unlike etherial it spawns everywhere in the wild, just like the original six elements. The two complete the second type cycle: rock beats ice, ice beats etherial, etherial beats wind, and wind beats rock.
